Finding Clarity & Joy: Introducing Executive Coach Joy SchwartzMFL
With clarity comes purpose…
It’s that time again! Time for MFL’s signature spring event, CLARITY. But this year’s event has a small twist.
For the first time ever, we’re hosting a retreat and we’ve invited some really amazing people to join us on a mission to inject a little more wellness, positive vibes and vision into our daily lives. The Clarity Retreat is for anyone who’s in need of some major rest & relaxation. Or if a professional reset is needed in order to get your 2017 goals back on track, this is totally the event for you. Click HERE to register.
Along with amazing workshops, an outdoor yoga sesh and an unforgettable private dinner, our venue host, the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center is hooking up Clarity attendees with a special room rate of $129 (normally $199) for the ultimate overnight experience. Think slumber party…with adult convos…and wine:). Reserve your space by April 28th to lock in that special rate!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CAREER: I have over 15 years experience recruiting, developing, and coaching top talent in global organizations, like PwC, RealPage, and Texas Instruments. After obtaining my MBA and an Executive Coaching Certification from SMU, I realized I that my internal and external clients experienced challenges that went beyond their careers. Life and work are not mutually exclusive, thus I pursued a degree and licensure as a professional counselor. Now I can meet my clients where they are – whether it’s a career transition, anxiety or depression, and or/marital challenges.
FAMILY: I have a wonderfully supportive husband, who is a true partner and super dad. He is a consultant with a major professional services firm. We have a toddler named Maddie who likes to tell “Knock-Knock” jokes and swim in our pool (my happy place).
WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT: I am passionate about helping others seek clarity, in life and at work. When we know who we are, it’s easier to know where we’re going and how to get there. To that end, I especially enjoy working with individuals and couples to uncover their needs and desires so that they can more effectively express them to others. It’s the foundation for setting boundaries, the key to self-care and stronger relationships.
YOUR ROLE AT THE CLARITY RETREAT: I will be facilitating sessions on mindfulness, vision, and values and moderating a mini-panel with two executive coaches on communicating with the C-suite. I see clients at Living Well Dallas, a proud sponsor for the CLARITY event.
WHY IS CLARITY IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN: As women we tend to put everyone else’s needs first and take what’s left over. A wise friend recently shared that “self-care is healthcare” and used the airline pre-boarding safety analogy to make the point that you need to put your breathing mask on (and take care of yourself) before your childrens’. We have to first explore what we need and want, before we can effectively acknowledge and address the needs of other around us.
